The CRS is a points-based system that IRCC uses to assess and score applicants and rank them in the pool.

It’s used to assess your:

  • skills
  • education
  • language ability
  • work experience
  • other factors

Every two weeks, the IRCC will announce an invitation score, and applicants whose CRS score exceeds the invitation score will be invited to immigration.
